Ok girl, I want to know what happened. Why did you disappear from my Google Reader? I kept looking for new posts from you every few days and nothing. Then we had spring break and I was 300 blog posts behind, trying to catch up, Easter and now I come to see that you have been here posting but I haven’t been receiving them. I entered you into my subscriptions again and hopefully I will see your posts again. I’ve missed you!! Sorry you had a bad birthday, that’s no fun. Hope you all had a wonderful Easter! Ours was quiet and relaxing.

Jessica,
I saw this on the news tonight. My best friend lived in Conifer for years, but recently moved to Florida when her husband had lost his job in Denver. Their children still live around the Conifer area. I hope they are all safe…and I hope that you stay safe too. I hope that they can get this wildfire under control quickly. Will keep everyone in my prayers.

That’s right, today is your birthday! I was dead determined to remember that but my mind has been preoccupied…well you know .

I never thought about the altitude issue. I have seen that in resipes and on box mixes but never knew anyone that had to deal with that before, guess I do now!

Wish I was there to share some cookies with you, they look yummy!

We still have lots of snow, but spring is in the air. We do the time change tonight. I think it is quite useless though, that one hour change, esp. because in summer it doesn’t get dark at all. Now the sun rises at 6 a.m. and sets before 7 p.m.

First things first: Happy birthday, Jessica! Hope today will be a lovely day spent with family and friends!

I haven’t baked in a long time, but been on a little crafty spell this year. I even knitted socks! The first pair since high school. I’d like to try knitting mittens as well, but probably not each day. Your stitching is cute!
